OPA general secretary Lee Kok Keong andfellow Old Paulians Chua Ah Tok and Ng Yee Tim were the people who secured the first premises for club members. The story started in 1970 when a committee was set up to undertake the task of acquiring a club building for the association.
It started a building fundraising project and managed to raise RM15,000 through pledges from Old Paulians and well-wishers. Unfortunately, that fell way short of the RM70,000 cost of constructing an SPOBA building in Sim Garden, Seremban. Lee, Chua and Ng then proposed renting one floor of a shop in Market Lane. The association finally bought two double-storey terrace houses, which were under construction in Taman Labu Utama, with the intention of converting the two buildings into a clubhouse.
In 1979, when Tan Sri Chan Choong Tak was elected president, the association bought a two-hectare land in Rasah for a clubhouse but this dream also did not materialise.

The dream finally became reality with Wisma OPA in Jalan Yam Tuan, completed in 2001.
