In conjunction with the La Salle Asia-St, Xavier's 160th Anniversary Celebrations, we have put up a photo gallery of the Brothers who once taught at the school, including photos of all the Brother Directors since the time SXI was established in 1852 that is, from the first to the last (Bro. They came … they educate … they touch hearts. This, in a nut shell summarizes the courageous story of the La Salle Brothers in Asia for the past 160 years. Resolute in their aim to enlighten the ‘downtrodden and poor’ in regions where education was a luxury only for the rich, they set sail for the Far East, a land that was totally alien to them.
